About the role#
The IT Digital Workplace Services Intern will support local site and end-user technology initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience across IT operations, user support, and project coordination. Working alongside IT professionals, you will contribute to projects that improve employee experience and operational effectiveness. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and collaboration tools.
- Support site projects through research, coordination, and testing.
- Track and prioritize support requests and project action items.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and process guides.
- Participate in user experience activities and collect feedback for improvements.
- Assist with asset management, inventory tracking, and compliance tasks.
- Support office moves, equipment deployments, and technology refreshes.
- Analyze operational data to prepare reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with IT subject matter experts to learn modern workplace technologies.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks between May and August 2027.
- Experience with WAN and LAN topology and support.
- Experience installing and configuring workstations, servers, and printers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to physically rack and stack IT equipment and walk long distances across site locations.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Visio skills are preferred.
