About the role#
The Global QMS Summer Intern will join the Global Quality Management Systems team to support strategic quality transformation initiatives. This role focuses on the Global QMS Upgrade Program and the deployment of digital quality tools. You will gain experience in quality system governance, digitalization, change management, and user adoption analytics within a global manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the Global QMS Upgrade Program by maintaining project trackers, action logs, milestone dashboards, and communication materials.
- Collect, analyze, and report on digital quality tool adoption metrics such as user activity, training completion, and system utilization.
- Create dashboards and reports to monitor user adoption, change readiness, and training effectiveness across global sites.
- Develop training materials, user guides, job aids, and communication campaigns for digital quality systems.
- Participate in user feedback collection activities, including surveys, workshops, and focus groups to identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with Quality, IT, and Operational Excellence teams to support the deployment of quality tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Enrollment in an academic program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to analyze data and present information clearly and professionally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and within a global cross-functional team.
Location & details#
- Location: Niskayuna, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10-12 weeks between May and August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
