About the role#
The Data Science Intern will join the Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team to support data-driven initiatives. You will work with business and IT teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions. This role provides hands-on experience with tools such as Snowflake and Tableau while applying Python and SQL to manipulate and visualize data.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the execution of AI and Machine Learning tasks.
- Gather, clean, and organize structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Support the development of predictive models and apply machine learning techniques to provide business solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to meet project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in Python and SQL for data analytics and machine learning.
- Experience developing and implementing ML/AI models.
- Understanding of machine learning, generative AI, multi-modal data analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Ability to work in a team environment and document complex technical requirements.

- Location: Niskayuna, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10-12 weeks, 40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
