About the role#
This internship provides undergraduate students with professional experience in the healthcare business sector. You will work on special projects and gain insight into government healthcare programs while interacting with industry professionals. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program designed to build your skills through experiential learning.
What you'll do#
- Conduct and respond to research requests regarding government healthcare programs.
- Manage special projects, including research, project tracking, and coordination.
- Generate and perform quality reviews on state reports.
- Review updates from government agencies and regulators, then share relevant information with internal staff.
- Participate in meetings related to government-run programs and document key takeaways for management.
- Maintain department documentation within the internal SharePoint system.
- Collaborate with team leads on report development and policy research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a freshman or sophomore in an undergraduate program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Health Policy, Project Management, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to the full-time, 10-week program.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet research.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Clear communication skills and a self-motivated work ethic.

- The internship is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
