About the role#
This Cybersecurity Internship offers hands-on experience within our Information Security organization. You will focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and identity security while working alongside cybersecurity professionals. This program provides exposure to healthcare industry practices and security operations.
What you'll do#
- Support IAM activities, including user access, access reviews, identity governance, and provisioning or deprovisioning.
- Assist with Privileged Access Management (PAM), Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), cloud identity, and security automation.
- Analyze access and security data to help identify risks, gaps, and process improvements.
- Assist with cybersecurity documentation, reporting, testing, and various project activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a freshman or sophomore in an undergraduate program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to commit to the full-time, 10-week internship program.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- A basic understanding of cybersecurity, identity, authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure, cloud technologies, networking, or scripting.
- Coursework, projects, certifications, or personal experience related to cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet research.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear professional communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Ability to handle confidential information and comply with HIPAA regulations.

- This is a remote, paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
