About the role#
Molin Concrete Products Company is hiring an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. You will work on residential and commercial construction projects while gaining experience with software tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Concise.
What you'll do#
- Assist with residential and commercial projects.
- Review general plans, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure drawings meet customer expectations.
- Create engineering calculations and designs for project submittals.
- Check production drawings for correct reinforcing, lifting, and stressing requirements.
- Draft RFI documents and review non-compliant products.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- You are a 3rd or 4th year civil engineering student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
- You must have completed coursework in Reinforced Concrete Design and Structural Analysis.
- Preferred coursework includes Structural Steel Design, Prestressed Concrete Design, and Structural Systems.
- Previous internship experience is helpful.
- You should have basic structural intuition, strong math aptitude, and high attention to detail.
- We look for curiosity, initiative, and the ability to handle feedback and iteration.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential.

- Location: Lino Lakes, MN (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
