About the role#
The Resource Management team within Portfolio Operations is looking for a co-op to support the advancement of resource planning across Development. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, data, and digital solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve resource visibility, forecasting, and planning. This is a full-time position running from January 18, 2027, to June 25, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the execution and adoption of the Resource Management capability across Development.
- Partner with the Resource Management Lead to coordinate technical, business, and operational activities.
- Prepare materials, analyses, and reporting for resource planning discussions with leadership.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather requirements, identify improvements, and capture decisions.
- Coordinate follow-up activities and prepare outputs that inform resource planning.
- Assist with data validation, quality checks, and continuous improvement of resource forecast models.
- Partner with Digital teams to test and deploy the Resource Management business solution.
- Support user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and business validation of new functionality.
- Document business requirements, user guides, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as a business point of contact for solution enhancements and ongoing user needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Life Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, or presentation development.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a cross-functional team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on action items.
- Exposure to Python through coursework or projects.
- Interest in biopharmaceutical Development, resource planning, and digital solutions.
- Must hold work authorization in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
