About the role#
This is a 3-month full-time Reliability Engineering Co-op position based in Rochester, New York. You will work with the Reliability Engineering staff to support design efforts for power supplies used in semiconductor manufacturing. The program runs during the Winter 2027 term, beginning in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Reliability and New Product Introduction teams on engineering projects.
- Solve reliability problems and research new technologies.
- Perform failure analysis on components and PCB subassemblies.
- Analyze design parameters and component stresses to ensure system reliability.
- Characterize components for electrical performance against specifications.
- Design and build fixtures for reliability testing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant major.
- Understanding of electronics, semiconductor devices, and analog or digital circuits.
- Experience reading circuit schematics and datasheets.
- Hands-on experience with circuit boards and soldering.
- Familiarity with lab equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a US Person.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

- Compensation: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued biweekly.
