About the role#
This is a 3-month full-time internship starting in January 2027. You will join the Integrated Process Solutions team in Broomfield, Colorado. You will report to the Senior Manager of Product Development and work alongside Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams.
What you'll do#
- Support Sustaining Engineering activities and Product Development projects.
- Contribute to the design of reliable products with a focus on cost, serviceability, and manufacturability.
- Test prototypes to ensure they meet product specifications.
- Perform data reduction and evaluate results to guide next steps.
- Create documentation including detail and assembly drawings, bills of materials, design review presentations, and test reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Practical, hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.
- Comfort working with mechanical and electrical hardware.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Broomfield, Colorado.
- Term: Winter 2027 (3 months, beginning January 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 days of accrued vacation for those working at least 20 hours per week.
