About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op for our San Luis Obispo site. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through June. You will work alongside senior engineers to support the design, development, and testing of gas purification systems.
What you'll do#
- Create mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Perform basic fluid and thermal analyses.
- Prepare documentation for prototypes and production.
- Manage BOM creation and engineering records using SAP.
- Document design changes, test results, and engineering reports.
- Contribute new solutions to technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Mechanical Engineering student.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics and materials science.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
Location & details#
- Location: San Luis Obispo, California.
- Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is on-site.
