    About the role#

    As a Facilities Mechanical and Process Water Intern, you will work on the critical infrastructure and mechanical systems that support semiconductor manufacturing. You will join the Facilities team and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to address real-world industrial challenges. Your work will focus on cost and energy reduction, plant safety, and reliability improvements.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in cost and energy reduction projects.
    • Support plant and process safety improvements.
    • Work on reliability enhancement projects.
    • Apply reliability methodologies like FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
    • Learn hydraulic system calculations, flow modeling, and psychrometric heat transfer calculations.
    • Assist in engineering analysis, design, and installation oversight for mechanical distribution systems.
    • Review construction documentation including submittals and RFIs.
    • Manage project-related financial information such as change notices, purchase orders, and capital forecasting.
    • Assist in project commissioning.
    • Create and manage project documentation including construction drawings, P&IDs, and PFDs.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Interest in industrial facilities, HVAC, or large-scale mechanical systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    • Location: Dallas, Texas.
    • This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
    • This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
