About the role#
The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern will support the finance team at Metallus Inc. during the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site position provides exposure to core financial processes and cross-functional collaboration, allowing you to contribute to real-time business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis activities.
- Assist in the monthly close process, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis tasks.
- Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and performance trends.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and small projects across FP&A and related functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Strong skills in Excel and data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting.
- Experience using PowerPoint.
