About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern at Brasstech, you will report to the Director of Lean Processes. Your primary focus is to develop and maintain production work instructions that ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacture of products.
What you'll do#
- Create work instructions according to the standard company format.
- Manage the approval process by distributing documents and incorporating necessary corrections.
- Upload approved work instructions to the Brasstech Intranet System.
- Update existing documentation to reflect engineering changes or adjustments to manufacturing processes.
- Participate in team-based process improvement initiatives, including 5S, kaizen, lean manufacturing practices, and cost reduction projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- No prior professional experience is required for this position.
