About the role#
The Central Engineering Test Chip Development team provides hardware validation for custom SRAM, logic, I/O, and security circuits. You will work across Marvell business units in advanced semiconductor technology nodes. This internship focuses on test chip design, laboratory infrastructure, and silicon characterization.
What you'll do#
- Design and verify test chip experiments using Verilog simulation.
- Develop, generate, simulate, and debug Verilog-based test patterns for hardware validation.
- Maintain laboratory environments for hardware debug, diagnostics, and measurement data collection.
- Create software tools and automation scripts for design support, data processing, and analysis.
- Analyze, summarize, and present characterization and validation results to engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital logic circuits, memory architectures, I/O circuits, and semiconductor device physics.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Programming and scripting skills in Perl and Python.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
