About the role#
This internship is part of the hardware and silicon validation team. You will work on analog validation for amplifiers and high-speed circuits that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Set up and run electrical lab measurements on analog and communication circuits.
- Use lab instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Write and improve Python automation code to collect data remotely.
- Document test procedures and results in weekly status updates.
- Analyze data and present your findings during team meetings.
- Debug hardware issues to find the root cause of circuit behavior.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors program for Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- A solid foundation in analog circuit design.
- Interest in lab-based testing for electronic chips and photonic integrated circuits.
- Experience or strong interest in Python scripting.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Confluence, and Jira.
- A methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information as defined by law.
