About the role#
The Mining Production Internship is a hands-on program based in Bridgeport, Texas. You will spend 10 to 12 weeks learning the aggregate business from the ground up. The program features a rotational structure where you will gain exposure to production, safety, engineering, geology, and quality control. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of a project to help develop your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Follow all ethical, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Operate and maintain plant equipment, such as conveyors, crushers, screens, and heavy off-road machinery.
- Learn the complete production process of an aggregate quarry.
- Ensure all work aligns with company values and policies.
- Participate in a rotational program to explore different facets of the mining operation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or trade certification program for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management.
- A valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to learn technical processes.
- Prior experience is helpful but not required.

- This is a full-time, paid internship. Please note that you will work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and environments with noise levels up to 90 dbs.
