About the role#
MarshBerry is seeking a Transaction Advisory Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position supports buy-side transaction advisory efforts, including quality of earnings analysis, pre-LOI vetting, working capital calculations, financial due diligence, and operational risk assessments. You will assist our project teams in delivering services to clients within the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on transaction advisory engagements, including financial modeling and report writing.
- Analyze client financial statements and enter data into firm models.
- Convert data from various formats into standardized charts of accounts.
- Perform fact finding, data gathering, and value determination.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete ad hoc research requests and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of financial statements and accounting data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role operates on a hybrid work schedule.
- Positions are available in Beachwood, Ohio; Grand Rapids, Michigan; or Plano, Texas.
