About the role#
This summer internship provides a professional, realistic preview of the green industry through hands-on experience at Lifescape Colorado. Interns can choose between a Rotational Program, which involves moving through multiple departments, or a Focused Program, which allows for specialization in a specific service line. You will receive mentorship from industry professionals and work on projects designed to provide practical insights into high-end residential landscaping.
What you'll do#
- Participate in hands-on projects across Property Care, Irrigation, Enhancements, Design, and Construction.
- Gain knowledge in horticultural practices, account management, enhancement sales, and irrigation systems.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to gain professional experience.
- Complete an individual project focused on efficiency or process improvements and present your findings at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a relevant degree program, such as Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, or Human Resources.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A strong interest in the green industry and high-end residential landscaping.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.
