About the role#
Mariani Premier Group is offering a Landscape Design Internship for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid position is based at our design studio in Highland Park, Illinois. You will work directly with our design team to gain hands-on experience with the design process, mentored by experienced associates.
What you'll do#
- Assist the design team with drafting and rendering for client presentations.
- Support the project team with various design and sales tasks.
- Help with site surveys and participate in onsite visits and walkthroughs.
- Provide support for AutoCAD and computer estimating systems.
- Make plan reproductions as needed.
- Evaluate your own work to ensure it meets internal and client expectations.
- Maintain high quality standards across all tasks.
- Participate in weekly training and departmental meetings.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Arrive on time and prepared for every shift.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Landscape Architecture or Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for design solutions.
- Moderate proficiency in Photoshop and 3D modeling software.
- Knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, or installation techniques.

- Location: Highland Park, IL.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June through August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Note: This role requires driving to various job locations. You may occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet client deadlines.
