About the role#
As a Residential Production Manager Intern, you will work directly with our Greenhouse, Yard, and Maintenance Crew Leaders. You will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of landscape maintenance and enhancement projects. You will be paired with a mentor who will guide you as you learn how we manage projects throughout the Chicagoland area. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your Crew Leader and team members to complete daily tasks.
- Perform physical job site activities such as mowing, trimming, planting, and watering.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all your work.
- Participate in company training programs covering equipment use and safety protocols.
- Arrive on time, in uniform, and prepared for each workday.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associates or Bachelor's degree program related to landscaping.
- Understanding of landscape terminology, plant materials, or installation techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Commitment to safety and following established work practices.
- Accountability for your performance and meeting project deadlines.
- Prior experience with Aspire Software is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Bluff, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Physical requirements: You must be able to stand, reach, bend, twist, and walk for 8 to 12 hours per day in outdoor conditions. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Schedule: This role may require evening and weekend work depending on client needs and project deadlines.
