About the role#
The Capital Markets Repo Analyst role is part of a two-year Graduate Program at Marex. You will support the Repo desk by facilitating secured financing and liquidity solutions within US Government securities markets. This position focuses on applying data analytics to improve business efficiency, while providing desk support to senior team members. You will gain exposure to sales and trading perspectives, trade flows, and internal systems.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day repo desk activities, including trade flow coordination across sales, trading, and supporting functions.
- Develop a strong understanding of the repo market and related trading systems.
- Apply coding or programming skills to develop data analytics and reporting capabilities that enhance visibility into trading performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes and technology.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements and internal policies.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in data analysis.
- Ability to obtain and successfully complete required FINRA licensing examinations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
