About the role#
This Graphic Design Internship provides the opportunity to support the creation of print and digital assets that promote exhibits, programs, and events. You will gain experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment while building your professional portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Create designs that adhere to the Marbles brand identity and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Graphics Team and other departments to support the creation of original designs.
- Assist the Graphics Team with internal graphic requests and projects.
- Help with the installation of graphics and signage fabrication for exhibits and events.
- Attend and participate in regular Graphic Team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a formal education class that requires an internship for academic credit.
- Pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design, Art, Media Studies, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products is preferred.
- Excellent creative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, and bending in addition to computer-based work.

- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Status: This is an unpaid, full-time internship.
