About the role#
Joliet Junior College is hiring a Student Employee to serve as a Social Media Editor. This part-time role supports the Blazer brand and requires working on-site at the main campus. The position is designed to accommodate your academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Post content to the Blazer TikTok and Instagram accounts.
- Coordinate the posting schedule for staff members.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at JJC in at least 6 credit hours during the fall or spring semester.
- A GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with college staff and the community.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, as well as demonstrated multicultural competence, are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Joliet, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with potential for up to 28 hours during breaks with supervisor approval.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
