About the role#
As a Materials/Packaging Engineering Intern, you will work with the Product Management team to support new product development and packaging initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience evaluating material performance, product protection, and technical requirements. This role offers exposure to product management, development, and engineering processes.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate product materials, packaging designs, and performance requirements.
- Assist with product and packaging testing, validation, and data analysis.
- Research emerging materials, packaging technologies, and competitive products.
- Identify opportunities to improve durability, usability, sustainability, and cost.
- Support technical documentation, presentations, and product launch activities.
- Collaborate with teams across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Materials Science, Materials, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
Location & details#
- Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August, 12 weeks).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- This position is paid and requires on-site attendance.
