About the role#
This internship supports early-stage innovation by assisting project managers and contributing to the development of new products and technologies. You will focus on research and the advancement of filtration and separation solutions for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
What you'll do#
- Investigate emerging filtration and separation technologies for medical and pharmaceutical applications.
- Support innovation project managers with assigned tasks and ideation-phase projects.
- Conduct research on products, technologies, and markets.
- Interview customers and subject matter experts to gather insights.
- Develop potential solutions for new products.
- Publish meeting minutes, workshop summaries, and technical reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related science or engineering field.
- Experience or interest in project management, online research, patent analysis, technical writing, or prototype testing.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in sustainable filtration concepts and life sciences.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- The position requires a minimum commitment of one semester.
- Weekly hours range from 20 to 40 hours.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role.
