About the role#
This is a full-time student position within the Mechatronics Systems Engineering group. You will support vehicle calibration, testing, and data analysis activities while contributing to system-level development. The team focuses on defining and optimizing control strategies to ensure vehicle performance meets requirements for current and future production programs.
What you'll do#
- Participate in vehicle and system-level testing using standardized methods.
- Perform data acquisition and analysis from vehicles, test benches, dynos, and manufacturing environments.
- Support the development, documentation, and verification of mechatronic system control software strategies.
- Conduct simulation, calibration, vehicle evaluation, and peer reviews.
- Assist in root cause investigations and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the vehicle applications team to define and refine software control logic and calibration strategies.
- Contribute to the development of test methods, procedures, and custom equipment for validation activities.
- Adhere to quality management systems and maintain a working knowledge of safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited engineering program, specifically Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
- Familiarity with computer-based software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
