About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the consumer lifestyle PR space. You will work on real client projects and collaborate with team members on daily tasks. The program includes a group project that you will present to agency leadership at the end of your term.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain media lists while tracking real-time media moves.
- Monitor news daily and track media coverage.
- Write press materials and internal reports.
- Research clients, competitors, and market trends online.
- Coordinate with external vendors.
- Collaborate on team brainstorms and event planning.
What you'll need#
- Interest in the consumer lifestyle industry.
- Experience or interest in media outreach and building relationships.
- Strong research skills.
- Proficiency in tracking media coverage and using tools like Muckrack.
- Ability to write clear press materials.
- Current or recent studies in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY.
- The internship runs through December 18, 2026.
- You will work 40 hours per week.
- This position is paid at $17 per hour.
