About the role#
Loureiro Building Construction LLC is hiring a Construction Management Intern for our Plainville, CT office. This paid internship offers hands-on experience across all phases of construction projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support scheduling, submittals, quality control, project safety, and cost control. This role is designed for students who want to develop practical skills in project delivery and construction management.
What you'll do#
- Assist Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents with daily project tasks.
- Perform quantity take-offs and gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support the coordination of purchase orders, subcontractor contracts, and submittals.
- Prepare health and safety documents specific to project sites.
- Help coordinate self-performed work and attend job meetings.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets, reports, work plans, and schedules.
- Maintain project filing systems.

- Current junior or senior status in a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree program.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
