About the role#
Loureiro Building Construction, LLC. is hiring a Construction Management Intern for our team in Plainville, Connecticut. This paid internship offers hands-on experience across all project phases. You will support scheduling, submittals, quality control, project safety, and cost control while working alongside experienced construction professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents during all project phases.
- Perform quantity take-offs and solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support scheduling, submittals, and the coordination of subcontractor contracts and purchase orders.
- Prepare project-specific health and safety documents.
- Assist in the coordination of self-performed work.
- Attend job meetings and participate in project discussions.
- Help prepare reports, work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Create, set up, and maintain project filing systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Junior or senior-level student status pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in site, concrete, remediation, building construction, or civil engineering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Compensation: $25 to $27 per hour.
