About the role#
The Risk Solutions internship is a 10-week program that introduces college students to the insurance industry from a broker perspective. You will work within various Risk Solutions teams and specialty verticals to contribute to real client projects. This is a full-time, paid summer position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Partner with account teams on key initiatives and daily servicing projects for new and renewal business.
- Participate in off-site carrier visits and client presentations when available.
- Contribute to client satisfaction and work to improve service levels.
- Communicate professionally to maintain a cohesive and pleasant work environment.
- Protect the confidentiality of information learned during your duties.
- Engage in collaborative training, one-on-one coaching, and networking activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student with a graduation date in Spring 2028 or Fall/Winter 2027.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong skills in customer service, communication, and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and prioritize tasks while maintaining quality.
