About the role#
Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Responsible Sourcing Co-op Student to join the Enterprise Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing team for an 8-month term. This role reports to the Senior Director of Responsible Sourcing and focuses on analyzing sustainable product data and improving internal documentation processes.
What you'll do#
- Analyze annual sustainable product data and reporting.
- Identify products that present high sourcing risks.
- Collaborate with category teams to track compliance plans for specific products.
- Update the Master Sourcing Guide and manage the re-assessment process for product specifications.
- Coordinate with external partners to ensure data accuracy and updates.
- Drive continuous improvements to existing processes.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- High level of organization with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A personal interest in sustainability is considered an asset.

- Location: Brampton, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027, to August 20, 2027).
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week).
- Compensation: $35,100 to $65,700 per year, depending on experience and academic level.
