About the role#
As a Production Designer Co-op Student, you will support the Packaging Design Studio at Loblaw Agency. You will work in a team environment to produce creative and marketing materials that follow brand guidelines. This role involves assisting with administrative tasks, managing project workflows, and collaborating with Design, Editorial, and Production teams. You will have the opportunity to take charge of specific projects under the guidance of a manager.
What you'll do#
- Support packaging design and creative production projects.
- Assist in developing and executing brand standards and design guidelines.
- Help manage studio workflow, project tracking, and reporting to keep projects on schedule.
- Organize and maintain creative assets, packaging files, and project archives.
- Conduct research and analysis related to brands, packaging, and design.
- Coordinate project information with internal teams and external vendors.
- Produce marketing materials for print, store POS, website, and social media.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design program.
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud 2025, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Advanced skills in photo editing, color correction, and retouching.
- Proficiency in Figma, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of digital, social, and web media marketing.
- Understanding of print, pre-press, and digital production processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be 18 years or older to complete a criminal background check.

- Location: Brampton, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027, to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week, 4 days in office).
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
