About the role#
The College of Business Career Connection team needs a student worker to revitalize the Bison Business Closet. You will assess, reorganize, and update the closet to better serve students. This role requires initiative, strong communication skills, and an eye for design. You must be a current Lipscomb University student to qualify. Preference goes to students in the College of Business or the fashion program. Federal work study eligibility is a plus.
What you'll do#
- Assess current inventory and decide which items to keep or donate.
- Find a meaningful organization for donations and make deliveries as needed.
- Reorganize the remaining inventory for a professional display.
- Create a spreadsheet to track stock and clothing needs.
- Develop a checkout process for students and a tracking system for the Career Connection team.
- Design communications for social media and email campaigns to reach alumni.
- Update the closet logo, signage, and promotional materials.
- Provide project updates to the team while maintaining confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- A responsible and dependable approach to your work.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible, approximately five hours per month.
- Status: Paid, part-time position.
