About the role#
As a Water Treatment Engineering Intern at Linkan, you will support design and build projects for mining and industrial clients. You will work alongside experienced engineers through the full project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and commissioning. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world engineering solutions for water quality challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, evaluation, and optimization of water treatment systems.
- Participate in site visits, field surveys, sampling, and system observations.
- Collect and analyze data regarding chemical dosing and contaminant removal performance.
- Assist with environmental compliance through monitoring, technical documentation, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of water treatment and environmental engineering principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proactive approach to learning and strong attention to detail.

- Locations: Elko, Nevada; Nicholasville, Kentucky; or Golden, Colorado.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship.
- The term is rolling.
