About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction project management, estimating, and field operations. You will work directly with our teams to support project planning and coordination. The role is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027. You will participate in our intern training program while working on-site to assist with active projects.
What you'll do#
- Monitor master construction schedules and track critical dates.
- Process submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Maintain logs for change orders and daily site activities.
- Participate in pre-construction, weekly, and post-construction meetings.
- Assist with project closeout documentation and filing systems.
- Create quantity take-offs from bid documents.
- Develop lists of qualified subcontractors and analyze their bids.
- Conduct daily jobsite walks to review progress and site conditions.
- Assist with safety audits and inspections.
- Update construction documents on-site.
- Generate field documentation for LEED project requirements.
- Manage punchlists and coordinate with subcontractors for completion.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site and interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders.
- Participation in the Leopardo intern training program.
