About the role#
We are hiring an Estimating Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work within our estimating department to support planning and project coordination. You will also participate in our intern training program, which covers operational, administrative, and sales activities.
What you'll do#
- Review bid documents and create quantity take-offs.
- Draft RFIs as needed.
- Visit jobsites to verify field conditions.
- Build lists of qualified subcontractors using Building Connected.
- Reach out to subcontractors to ensure coverage.
- Receive and analyze bids against drawings, specifications, and project scope using our bid day form.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in construction.
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
