About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Manufacturing Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our Menomonee Falls facility. This program provides at least 10 weeks of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will be paired with a mentor to assist with your professional development and gain exposure to our engineering methods and practices.
What you'll do#
- Follow basic work instructions to learn company fundamentals.
- Assist engineers with design details, analysis, and calculations.
- Conduct limited scope testing under supervision.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Support research tasks within your functional area.
- Complete assigned projects on time.
- Perform a variety of tasks to learn about our engineering programs and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Progress toward an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- A diligent, hardworking approach and a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools relevant to your discipline.
- Preference is given to students entering their junior or senior year.
- Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, power electronics, control systems, switchgear, motors, mg sets, electronics packaging, or energy conversion is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
- Schedule: This role follows a 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with eligibility to participate in the 401(k) plan.
