About the role#
As a Business Compliance Intern, you will support our team with data validation, reporting, and process documentation. This role provides hands-on experience working with large datasets from enterprise systems. You will learn how complex data is transformed into business insights while supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data from SAP tables and reports to support compliance initiatives.
- Validate dashboard and reporting data by reconciling results against SAP source data.
- Use Databricks Genie Rooms to query data, refine prompting techniques, and validate results.
- Document data sources, validation procedures, and reporting logic to support knowledge sharing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and preparation techniques.
- Basic understanding of data querying and data visualization concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to document processes, findings, and business requirements.
- Interest in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with generative AI tools, enterprise data systems, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
