About the role#
As a Shared Services Accounting Intern, you will join the General Ledger Accounting team in Richardson, Texas. This role focuses on supporting accounting process innovation. You will gain experience through projects designed to improve business results while working alongside professionals in the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Support accounting process innovation initiatives within the Shared Services General Ledger team.
- Use AI-driven solutions and automation to streamline workflows.
- Improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Drive agile accounting processes across multiple business units.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and in good academic standing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
- Previous experience using Excel for data analysis or reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools used to improve business processes.
- Demonstrated leadership through work, student organizations, athletics, or volunteer activities.
