Electrical Intern Position: Full-Time, In-Office Gilbert Mechanical is seeking an Electrical Intern to support our project management team and gain hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction. This role provides exposure to electrical construction projects while working alongside project managers, estimators, engineers, and field personnel. Responsibilities - Assist Project Managers with the planning and coordination of construction projects. - Review drawings, specifications, and project documents. - Support estimating efforts with takeoffs and cost analysis. - Help track project schedules, materials, budgets, and documentation. - Attend job walks, project meetings, and site visits. - Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence. - Support project teams in maintaining safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications - Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. - Interest in construction, engineering, and project management.
