About the role#
Leadbay is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to help bridge the gap between our technology and our customers. You will work directly with the founders to land accounts, understand complex growth strategies, and build custom workflows that help our clients succeed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Land both small and large accounts by working directly with customers to understand their growth needs.
- Build custom workflows, features, and connectors within the MCP product and the acquisition funnel.
- Act as an efficient sales representative by using MCP to demonstrate the value of our tools.
- Meet with self-serve users to gather feedback and iterate on agentic systems.
- Develop a library of successful strategies and features that can be scaled across different accounts.
What you'll need#
- Strong technical capability paired with social skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- A habit of building AI skills and personal side projects in your spare time.
- A preference for shipping functional solutions quickly rather than waiting for perfect, clean code.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to act as a self-starter.
- The confidence to admit when you do not know an answer in front of a customer and the drive to go find it.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $3,000 to $5,000 per month.
- Employment: Full-time internship with a rolling term.
