About the role#
Leadbay is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between technical product development and direct customer growth. You will work directly with the founders to build custom agentic workflows for enterprise clients. This role requires a balance of technical execution and social interaction, as you will be responsible for both building AI-powered solutions and engaging with executive stakeholders to drive account success.
What you'll do#
- Land small accounts through 30-minute calls and demonstrate the value of custom workflows.
- Partner with large accounts to understand their growth strategies and build tailored workflows in their offices.
- Develop features and tools within the MCP product and acquisition funnel.
- Utilize MCP to demonstrate efficient sales processes.
- Meet with self-serve users to build agentic systems and iterate on what works.
- Compile knowledge from account interactions to improve product capabilities and scale growth.
What you'll need#
- Technical proficiency with the ability to write Python.
- Strong social skills to interact effectively with VPs, C-level executives, and CEOs.
- Experience building AI skills and a track record of side projects or self-directed learning.
- A bias for action, preferring to ship functional solutions quickly over waiting for perfection.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to solve problems on the fly in front of customers.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Science, Marketing, or Communications.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
