About the role#
This is a temporary internship within the International and Air Operations department. You will provide professional support while gaining experience in the logistics industry. This role is open to students currently in their junior or senior year of university.
What you'll do#
- Set up new customers and vendors in our systems.
- Finalize shipment files.
- Create reports on revenue, volume, and purchased transportation for management.
- Assist with rate quotations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a university program, specifically in International Business Administration or Logistics.
- A good understanding of domestic and international geography, including major cities and seaports.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Previous office or internship experience is helpful.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Jacksonville, Florida.
- The schedule is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. An 8-hour shift on Friday is required.
- This is a paid internship at $15 per hour.
