About the role#
The Project Engineer Intern supports engineering activities within our manufacturing plant. You will work under the supervision of senior team members to assist with the planning, design, and implementation of capital expenditure projects. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior engineers with research, analysis, and testing for capital projects.
- Use CAD software to contribute to the design and development of processes and systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and subcontractors to procure materials and services.
- Help the maintenance team create equipment lists for preventive maintenance programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering program.
- Completion of at least one to two previous engineering traineeships.
- Proficiency with CAD software and technical engineering tools.
- A basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

- Modality: Hybrid work model.
- Compensation: $26 to $27 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
