About the role#
This is a part-time student production position involving cheese manufacturing operations. The role follows a 3-2-2-3 rotating shift schedule, with shifts available from 4:00 to 16:00 or 16:00 to 4:00. Compensation is 24.30 dollars per hour, with additional premiums of 1.25 dollars per hour for evening shifts and 1.75 dollars per hour for night shifts.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational tasks including molding, demolding, and turning cheeses.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment.
- Complete other tasks relevant to the cheese production process.
What you'll need#
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to work in temperate or refrigerated environments.
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to learn quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is considered an asset.
