About the role#
This part-time work study position supports the department by assisting staff and peers. You will help increase office coverage and contribute to daily tasks, projects, and initiatives. This role requires an average of 10 hours per week, typically scheduled between 8am and 4pm.
What you'll do#
You will handle general administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly. Your daily tasks include filing, organizing, typing, taking notes, and managing messages. You will also prepare mailings and materials for upcoming events. Additionally, you will stock lab shelves and manage office supply inventory.
What you'll need#
You must be currently enrolled at Lackawanna College. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently. You need to maintain confidentiality according to FERPA regulations. This position also demands attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage office records.

This position is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is an on-site role with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour.
