About the role#
The People Operations Coordinator supports human resources and employee lifecycle initiatives at Devereux TCV Community Services. This role provides administrative and project assistance to the People Operations team. You will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, compensation, compliance, and credentialing while contributing to an employee-centered workplace. This position is open to students eligible for work study.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment tasks like scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant tracking records.
- Coordinate onboarding for new employees by preparing materials and tracking required documentation.
- Provide administrative and research support for compensation projects, including data collection and benchmarking.
- Support auditing and licensing processes by reviewing documentation and organizing records.
- Manage credentialing and training program administration by monitoring certifications and renewal dates.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and databases for HR initiatives.
- Participate in special HR projects and process improvement efforts.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information at all times.
What you'll need#
- An interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or Healthcare Administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience is preferred.
- Experience with data entry, reporting, or project coordination is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Homestead, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Part-time, work study.
- Pay rate: $11 per hour.
- Employment dates: August 24, 2026, to May 3, 2027.
- Students may not exceed 20 hours per week combined across all campus jobs.
