About the role#
Labcorp is looking for an IT Business Analyst Intern to join our Finance Team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Burlington or Durham, North Carolina. You will work in a hybrid capacity, supporting our technology and process improvement initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a global healthcare environment.
What you'll do#
- Support business analysis activities and gather requirements for new projects.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, developers, and testing teams to support project delivery.
- Document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with project activities from the initial requirements phase through implementation.
- Explore how emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, can improve business processes and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, specifically in Business Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Lucidchart for mapping processes and workflows.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet.
- Experience with Jira is preferred.
- Previous project management experience is preferred.
