About the role#
Labcorp is seeking an intern to join the Tax, Treasury and Risk Management (TTRM) team. This position offers exposure to the tax, treasury, and risk management issues encountered by a large public company. You will work on departmental projects and gain hands-on experience while supporting our business operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members across Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management on various projects.
- Develop and test automation and technology solutions using tools like Alteryx, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, and Power BI.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort through technology.
- Support Federal, State, and Sales & Use Tax teams with compliance, reporting, and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree program.
- Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to learn new software programs, specifically Alteryx and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and meet deadlines.
- Professionalism and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Location & details#
- Location: Durham, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Status: This is a paid internship. Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
