About the role#
This internship is part of the Research and Development team in Durham, North Carolina. You will work on molecular genetics projects within a laboratory setting. The role is an 11-week, full-time commitment designed to provide hands-on experience in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting. You will work alongside experts to support clinical departments and laboratory operations.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Science.
- Preference for rising juniors and seniors with graduation dates between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and alongside diverse team members.
- Experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
- Professionalism, including punctuality and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative and an eagerness to learn.

- Location: Durham, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
